Do you take pictures?

No, you can bring your own cameras or your own photographer, and photographers bring their own client! We are a life photography venue offering 1-hour time slots for a sprawling 70 acres with scenic views as well as prop and staging options, without fighting public crowds.

 

Does one price include all current props as well as the land?

Yes, all current props are included with the land. 1-Hour Session is 90.00.  Bring your camera, photographer, or client. We will be opening the wooded trail to the rock wall and its water area as soon as enough wet weather provides, and/or Fall. For any special requests, staging of prop areas, workshops, or special mini sessions you would like added on, please contact us by phone for special pricing and additions at 870 562 1258.

 

How do I pay?

Currently, you may pay by debit or credit card through Square’s on-line secure payments.  In-person check or cash payments are accepted, but a slot will not be scheduled until payment is received. Contact us by phone to set up a time to prepay.

 

Can I come without a scheduled appointment to take photos?

No, all guests must have a prepaid scheduled appointment before entering Hidden Hills for photographs, paintings, or events.  However, to schedule an appointment beforehand to see the area,  message or call and we would be happy to schedule a free tour!

 

Do I just go straight up to the venue area for my slotted session?

No, the gate to Hidden Hills is closed until you stop at the office to sign in and are directed where to go. Due to areas of rocky trails and a pond with rowboat, all paying guests and/or photographers will need to sign a one-time waiver before entering.  Once this is signed on the first visit and you know where to go, any sessions thereafter you may simply enter the gate on your scheduled appointment. Office is conveniently located at the bottom, right on Hwy 23. Go to the back barn and look for the sign when you pull in. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled session, to ensure you get your full hour.

 

Where do I park?

You may park your vehicle at the Hidden Hills Venue area or use it to drive to the different areas of property. Our drive up to our venue area is steep and somewhat rocky. Cars are fine to drive, just go slow as you drive, just as you would on any mountain road.  We are not responsible for accidents or injuries on the property. Use caution and use common sense.   Side by sides are welcome as well since you have 70 acres, most which is wide open areas. Just allow time to unload so that it doesn’t interfere with your photo time. You are welcome to walk to areas as well. When parking, remember to not block your area which you want to take your beautiful photos!  No vehicles are allowed on the highest area. You must have 4wd, side by side, or walk. The area has beautiful scenic views, so it is worth it!

 

Are there restrooms or changing areas?

Yes, we currently have a portable restroom, a temporary changing area, and hand-washing station set up for your convenience. This area is located directly to the left as you are entering the top portion of the driveway. Look for signs. There is no electricity. Another changing station area will later be added.

 

How much time do I have on the venue?

We do 1- hour slots instead of 30 minutes, to allow time for all areas. If you feel you will need more time you may schedule multiple slots.  Once here, if you decide you need more time, you may pay for another slot that day. Simply come back to the office or call before extending your time.   If there is another session starting, please be respectful of their area as you are finishing up your extended paid session.

 

Do you offer refunds?

No, however, we will reschedule if cancellation is given with 24- hours notice.  We will reschedule if there are weather-related issues.

 

Will there be anyone on the venue at the same time?

No guests are scheduled in your time slot. However, if someone needs extended time once here and they notified us and paid, there may occasionally be one other session finishing up.    Any over-lapping of coming and going times should not interfere with your session.  This is our personal home property as well as venue, so certain times we may be on the property as well as sometimes workers in the other areas such as our future home and shop.  We are also in the middle of constructing new areas and props for the venue and event ideas.  There is plenty of space between areas so that no one is interfering with your perfect spot for your shots.

 

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we love our furry friends, both small and large! We know sometimes you want to include them in your special moments! All animals must be on leash at all times except when taking photographs. If you are bringing large animals such as horses, please notify us at least 2 days prior so we can accommodate any needs.

 

Will you be adding to the venue?

Yes, Hidden Hills will have several phases!  We are in Phase 1, so there will continually be things added to both the photo sections as well as future event venue options! Like and follow our Hidden Hills fb page and check our Hidden Hills website for updates!

 

How will I know where to go on the venue?

We will escort you to the top on your first visit after you check in and sign the waiver. We will show you or point out the main areas and where to look for signs.  You can follow the signs located on the venue for all of the areas available to guests at this time. Any visits thereafter, you may simply drive straight up and start your session!

 

 

Will you have seasonal set-ups?

Yes, we will have certain areas staged for seasons and holidays such as Spring/ Easter, 4th of July, Autumn/Fall, and Christmas!

** Bring tick spray and water during hot summer months! We will have an area set up close to the restrooms for water and spray if you forget!  Remember, Hidden Hills has alot of open meadows and fields with wildlife! We keep certain areas not cut so that you have options of the beautiful wispy grass in your backgrounds; therefore, there will be possibilities everywhere for ticks. Watch your surroundings, we are not responsible for any accidents or injuries. Use caution, common sense, and enjoy the views and our props!
